We don't to oversell the Sunnyside Woodside area; We are not Paris, Rome or Manhattan. But we are still right in New York City, close to Manhattan and Brooklyn, and visitors are often surprised by the cheaper hotels and restaurants (excellent: Michelin/Zagats/Time Out), ease of public transportation, and calmer, friendlier, less stressful ambience. We live and work here because of that, ourselves.

The Chamber supported the renewal in 2009 of the charming Art Deco-styled Sunnyside Arch with inestimable backing from our elected officials.
Cub scout in Sabba Park, named after Joe and Buster Sabba, near Veterans Memorial, projects of their fellow Chamber "founding fathers." 
Permanent art at #7 station, 33rd St./Rawson. New Yorkers were fond of "Redbirds," now retired barn-red subway cars.
